What Have We Done to Our Nature?
One fine day, this popular subject about global warming sparked an interesting conversation between a designer and a writer. On print, everything about it was clear and conscise yet the writer hates to say that she miserably gets reader’s block every time she wanted to read an article and eventually gave it up for the abundance of scientific terms splashed all around. Then, on the Internet, the writer picked a few pieces about the subject that she thought would interest her. Alas, she knew she wasn’t going deeper into the next paragraph or after that because the meta-information just blew her away (in a negative way) and she never came back to the sites. This really kills her enthusiasm. So, there came to a point where the writer turned the bulb on and told the designer this: “Create something that I know in an instant what kinda world I’m living in.” So, the writer and designer waited (and waited) to be inspired they finally heard the calling of nature. *Drums roll...Presenting to you for the very first time JaylimDesign’s latest T-shirt design ---
That’s it! A T-shirt that anyone can put on anytime for their pleasure, and at the same time walk around like an awareness strategy to get people thinking about what kinda world they’re living in – in an instant, and then do something about it.
It seems impossible but it would be nice if we could all work hand in hand to achieve that. Among the hundred or thousand of ways that you can help stop global warming, the act of recycling is undoubtedly the simplest. It’s not easy to part with your favourite old, dusty stuff especially books but it’s your chance to help clean up the dirty planet.
Back to the writer, she obtained an information from The Star newspaper dated July 3 2007 that one’s lifestyle can do damage to the world. Termed as the Ecological Footprint (EF), the concept as Canadian ecologist Dr. William Rees puts it “creates a sense of responsibility between what people do and the environment...they (people) do not see their lifestyles as the reason behind the present state of the environment...and blaming industries for all the pollution”. And surprisingly, this can be measured by your shoe size! The bigger feet you have, the more resources from the planet are needed to upkeep your sort of lifestyle.

Dear lovely friends of nature, help stop global warming. You can make the world a better place for our future.
